Services We Provide
Design
Our engineering team has extensive knowledge of dust collection, pneumatic transfer, industrial vacuums and safety equipment.
Each project is designed and refined to obtain unique, efficient and economical solutions for each project.
Fabrication
Capt-Air manufactures many of its own system components and is very active in research and development to continuously improve solutions for clients. We create special cyclones and air-material separators, pneumatic conveying systems for a wide variety of products, valves and special-application machines for our clients.
Installation
Capt-Air has its own installation teams and has a general and specialized contractor license. Our experienced crews are accustomed to working in varied industrial environments: sanitary, heavy industrial, laboratories or aircraft assembly plants. We work in safe conditions and provide high-quality work quickly and expertly.
Remote System Monitoring
IIot, Predictive Maintenance or Remote System Monitoring all come down to the same thing — the ability to remotely monitor predetermined set-point alarms in a system and act upon those alarms before the unbalance in the system causes a production shutdown.
Capt-Air uses Donaldson’s iCue™ predictive filtration service to provide actionable system insights when and where you need them.
Preventive Maintenance
Safety Compliance
The majority of organic or metallic dust and chemical compounds are combustible and present a serious hazard to workers and equipment. A dust cloud can easily combust and create a fireball or explosion causing significant facility damage and risks to nearby personnel.
Handling combustible dust requires risk analysis and mitigation equipment to address it. Our engineering team can evaluate the risks – current or future and find solutions to eliminate or reduce these risks.
Diagnostics & Repairs
For performance problems, premature filter clogging or equipment failure, our experienced technician team will be able to identify and solve the problem.
Our Service and Repair Teams are available Monday – Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm but scheduled appointments can be booked 24/7 for our clients.
System Start-Up
Energy Audits
Capt-air has extensive knowledge in energy saving for dust collection systems.
Often by using specialized filters which can lower ΔP or low-pressure filter-cleaning systems greater efficiency can be achieved. Electronic controllers for cleaning cycles and fan speeds can also increase system efficiency.
Capt-Air original designs incorporate optimizing airflow to maximize system efficiency.
